There are wedding days that remind us what it's really all about — and this one at Villa Honegg was exactly that.
Despite heavy rain pouring down all morning, the couple and their closest people — less than 20, all flown in from the U.S. — were determined to have their ceremony outdoors.
After all, they had come all the way to Switzerland for the breathtaking view over Lake Lucerne, and nothing was going to take that moment away from them.
With umbrellas in hand and hearts wide open, they embraced the moody skies and misty mountains as the bride’s aunt officiated the most intimate, love-filled ceremony.
It was raw, romantic, and purely about them — and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
