Intimate and Personal Vow Exchange at the lake Zug

They finally have said yes to each other – for ever. Their intimate and personal vow exchange happened before their Civil Wedding at the Lake zug. Just the two of them and no other soul around..

Let me tell you about it…

The Wedding Couple

Alex is Swiss-Ecuadorian, born in Japan and she lived all around the globe (Boston, London, Sydney, San Francisco before settling in in Switzerland). Denis was raised by a South American mother and a Swiss German father and grew up in Switzerland.

They have met back in 2007 while playing Tennis in a little village just outside of Geneva in Switzerland.

Alex’s first impression of Denis was that “he’s SUPER nice, approachable and wow, this is his first lesson & he’s already really good at it, so I’m impressed but… I’ll never consider dating him because he wears glasses” (true story!).

The first impression of Alex was that Denis thought she was cute and very friendly. “At that time, I was mainly focused on improving my tennis skills and would never have imagined that I just met my future wife», he added.

They did loose contact but only after a few months they rekindled thanks to Facebook and shortly after officially started dating.

Our first call together confirmed how much you cared about making this experience special for us (you were curious about our needs and understood what we were looking for) and then you overdelivered.

The Vows

We met about an hour before their civil wedding ceremony for a little pre civil wedding photo session. It was so magical as it was quite early in the morning. Zug showed itself in the most beautiful morning light.

Before all of their guests arrived, they wanted a moment for just the two of them. That was the moment when they wanted to read their vows to each other. It was such a magical moment. Just the two of them at the lake. Sharing their vows, giggling and just realising that this is my partner for life now.

The photos feel authentic and when you look at them, you think “WOW” because of the quality/editing.

Their experience

He loved the “the good laughs while doing the photoshoot» and it “felt as if we were joking/laughing the whole time but you managed to also capture the moments we looked slightly more serious”.

I love how natural the whole photoshoot experience was and how you made us feel comfortable (it was our first photoshoot).

Denis likes the way the photos really capture the magical moments and atmosphere on that beautiful sunny morning in Zug. “The colours are exactly how I remember them when remembering the day».

We wanted something authentic «and that’s what we got with you :). You guided us through every step of the process and we had SO MUCH FUN».

Alex also said that she “loved how you easily made my sister & brother-in-law feel comfortable with the photoshoot as well, when we took pictures together. They weren’t supposed to be part of the photoshoot but arrived at our location earlier than expected so I truly appreciate you being flexible in making them part of the experience.»

I cherish moments like these and it fills my heart when I can capture them for my couples. Forever.
