Unforgettable May Wedding at Lake of Zurich | Isabel & Bojan

I don’t think I will ever be over Isabel and Bojan’s May wedding in the middle of Zurich City in Switzerland. This gorgeous Serb-Orthodox Church wedding with a reception at one of Switzerland’s “Big Five” Lakes was so unique. What really made it special though was how after the ceremony, they celebrated with all of their loved ones at “Badi Enge”. An open-air swimming pool by day and an event venue by night, found right within Lake Zurich! How incredible is that?!

In the past, Lake Zurich was used as a transportation route, but since, it has been transformed into one of Switzerland’s most popular destinations for events and swimming.

I can’t wait to share their story and their photos with you! Trust me, you’re not going to want to miss this one.

Isabel & Bojan’s Lake Zurich Wedding

I first met Isabel and Bojan while I was shooting a good friend’s wedding. From our first encounter, it was clear that we were a good fit due to our similar worldviews, and our love for laughing. The two trusted me enough to book with me without hesitation and supported me in making their day the bestest experience ever. I was so excited to capture their day. The whole wedding day felt like a dream come true!

About the Couple

Despite Bojan and Isabel having worked together for more than a year, they first officially met after Brojan’s laptop broke. This seemingly unlucky incident is what allowed the two to have a proper conversation and shortly after the incident, the two realized that they had a lot in common and quickly became friends. How beautiful is it to look back and think this love story started from a broken laptop?

Bojan was immediately drawn to Isabel’s power and positivity. For Bojan, Isabel was someone who could turn his bad days around in an instant. Meanwhile, Isabel really appreciates the support they give one another. She firmly believes that she never would have achieved as much without Bojan pushing her. These two have such a close and beautiful bond, all while still being able to enjoy the freedoms they give one another.

One big thing that they both share, is the act of living in the here and now. The two would rather spend their time enjoying the present, rather than spending their days thinking about the future while forgetting to live in the present. I think that’s a lesson we could all learn from them, don’t you think?

Bojan: Devine food, drinks, and cuddling

Isabel: Food, talking, food, talking & laughing loudly so that everyone looks. Being close to each other and really enjoying the moment either hand in hand or in each other’s arms

The Important Things At Their Wedding At Lake Zurich

Even though their wedding day was packed with a few location changes, the day was so relaxed and chill. Bojan and Isabel lived in the moment and took everything easily and with so much positivity. It made me so so so happy seeing that they got to enjoy every second of their wedding day.

The music, the food, the party, and the company were some of the most important things while planning their wedding for Bojan. Isabel approached the wedding planning with a laid back attitude and focused on the importance of being happy and able to celebrate their day. It was great witnessing how she enjoyed the great atmosphere of their wedding day.

The two even made a risky choice with the Badi Enge but they ended up hitting the JACKPOT! This was the best day ever and it ended with a full on party under the night sky of Zurich City at Zurich Lake.

This day was definitely one for the books and I am so honored that both Isabel & Bojan allowed me to be a part of this special chapter in their new lives together! I JUST LOVE MY JOB!!!
