A Love Sealed by the Waters: A Proposal and Intimate Engagement Party at Zurich Lake

In the tranquil embrace of Zurich Lake, two hearts prepared to embark on a journey that would forever redefine their lives. This was no ordinary day, for it was the day that Michal and Arek, two souls deeply in love, would unite their destinies in a special proposal and intimate engagement party amidst the stunning scenery that surrounded them.

The Intimate Proposal

With hearts pounding in anticipation, Michal & Arek chose the Lindenhof on top of Zurich with this backdrop for this extraordinary moment. Lindenhof, known for its serene beauty and view on the shimmering waters, mirrored their love—an eternal reflection of their unwavering commitment to each other. Surrounded by the breathtaking Swiss Alps in the fast distance, which stood tall and proud, the couple found solace in the majestic embrace of nature.

As the sun gently bathed the landscape in golden hues, Michal & Arek strolled hand in hand along the riverside in Zurich. Their footsteps marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. With the calm waters as witnesses, they paused at a picturesque spot. Leaving the busy City Life around them behind.

The Classic Car

To commemorate this extraordinary moment, they had arranged a very special car. They both love classic old cars and this was just perfect to round the one-one time before they went to their next special location.

Arek & Michal – two pragmatic personalities, who took nearly sixteen years to get engaged

Arek is an outdoorsy, extroverted soul, the life of a party; which is exactly where he met Michal, his polar opposite- introverted, quiet, having an intimate group of friends. Their relationship reminds me of when people ask the question, how can two people so different be in love? The truth is, you can do different things, but as long as you have the same foundational values, it does not matter how you choose to practice them. That, and one of them has to look like David Beckham.

The Engagement Party

Gathering only a select few loved ones to celebrate their union. The festivities – their engagement Party – took place at a charming lakeside venue, bathed in warm golden light as the sun began to set. Their small group of closest friends and family enveloped them in a cocoon of love, offering heartfelt toasts and well wishes for their future together. Laughter filled the air, mingling with the gentle lapping of the lake’s waters against the shore. The atmosphere was one of pure joy and acceptance, where love transcended all boundaries and where the celebration of their union resounded with authenticity and authenticity.

Pretend turns into reality

Having dated for so long, the subject of an engagement or a wedding had not come up before. Arek and Michal both felt strongly about equality, a balanced relationship where both voices are respected. So when it came to proposing, they were never comfortable with one of them getting down on one knee and asking the question. It had to be something more mutual than that. The shoot itself was a bit of a shift from the typical, hetronormative romantic poses. So it went well with their values.

The topic arose once again a day after the shoot. This time, the conversation was more evolved and bloomed further than the last. They realized it was time and that the words they have said to each other during the proposal part are very much true. Turning this styled shoot into a real engagement!

Such a beautiful, organic passage into a marriage. In a way, it was pretty dramatic. Like they played parts in a play and took inspiration from their character in real life. On the other hand, it was none of the loud, balloon popping, speakers blaring celebrations that are so common in moments like these.
